This project involved the replacement of an ageing timber structure with a high-quality, contemporary sun room that seamlessly connects to the existing house. Designed as a lightweight, timber-clad addition, the new sun room enhances the building’s relationship with the surrounding garden while providing a bright, flexible space for year-round use.

The minimalist form and natural material palette ensure the extension sits comfortably against the existing property, offering a modern yet sympathetic architectural response. Large areas of glazing maximise natural light, create uninterrupted views to the landscape, and help to visually anchor the new room within its setting.

Carefully detailed timber cladding provides warmth and texture, complementing the traditional character of the home while elevating its overall appearance.
